Dr. Earl M. Schneider, DDS
Dr. Earl M. Schneider, DDS, has a unique blend of experience, compassion, gentle touch and skill. He cares deeply for the health and well-being of his patients and has a keen eye for aesthetics to help you create the smile you've always wanted. He follows the philosophy of his late father Jack Schneider who emphasized:
"Treat your patients as though it was you being treated, and always have time during the day for someone who may be in pain."
Dr. Schnieder grew up on Chicago's North Side, and has maintained a private practice in Glenview since graduating from the prestigious Northwestern University with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1985. Prior to Dental School, he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry from The University of Illinois. Dr. Schneider has had a distinguished career, having worked as an instructor in gross anatomy at Northwestern University teaching both the dental and medical students. Dr. Schneider was also a staff dentist educating dental students and graduate students in fixed and removable prosthetic dentistry at Northwestern University dental school. He also staffed the Northwestern University emergency room dental clinic for one year.

The future face of our practice
Dr. Schneider's son Justin began his dental experience at the age of 16 when he started observing and working at his father's practice. After his first summer there, Justin fell in love with the field and has never looked back.
Justin received a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Biology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he was involved in UW-Madison's Pre-Dental Society and Operation Smile, helping children with cleft lips and palates.
Justin is currently a student at the UIC School of Dentistry. He also donates his time at Goldie's Place, which is a free dental clinic in Chicago geared towards helping the homeless get a jump-start in life. He looks forward to one day having the privilege of helping the community smile on a daily basis.
Dr. Schneider continued his education beyond dental school. He was in the first class that Northwestern University offered with the Branemark Implant Institute in advanced studies on dental implants. He has also completed hundreds of hours of post-graduate education in cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Schneider believes in community service and volunteers his time with a wide variety of organizations. He participates in the Give-Back-A-Smile with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. This program is designed for battered women. The Give-Back-A-Smile allows women to win back their self-esteem through cosmetic dentistry. This can help them to find a job, which in turn gives them the freedom they need to begin a new life. In the past, he served for many years on the Peer Review and Mediation Committee of the Chicago Dental Society. He is also a member of the Glenview Chamber of Commerce. In his spare time, Dr. Schneider donates dentistry to charitable agencies and has also been actively involved over the years in managing and coaching his childrens' sports teams.
Dr. Schneider is an active member of the dental community with professional memberships in:
